Cost of Converting a Prepaid SIM Card to a Postpaid One
The charges associated with switching from a prepaid to a postpaid SIM card will be based on the price of the postpaid SIM card. To learn about your specific charge, dial *70#.
To pay the fee for converting a prepaid SIM card to a postpaid one:
- If you have sufficient credit, the cost will be deducted from your SIM card credit after dialing the code or registering a request through MyIrancell.

Important Points and Rules for Converting a Prepaid SIM Card to Postpaid
- The remaining balance of the prepaid SIM card account and the main top-up packages will be transferred to the postpaid SIM card account. This includes the “WOW recharge.” However, all gift packages including any WOW recharge that has been given as a gift to the subscriber, roaming packages, items mentioned in the “Offers” section, existing and future promotional plans, and customized combo packages, including Boom Plus, cannot be transferred. Additionally, the RBT service subscription will be canceled, and the active RBTs in the account will be deleted.
- After the request to convert the SIM card, your prepaid line will be converted to postpaid within 24 hours.
- Ensure that the registration of your prepaid SIM card is complete and that the postal code entered is correct; otherwise, your SIM card will not be converted to postpaid.
- Special gift packages will be allocated to the SIM card within 72 hours after activation.
- Gift internet packages, night packages, and multi-user packages have higher priority consumption compared to regular internet packages. This means that if you purchase and activate a regular internet package and receive a gift package or activate a night or multi-user package, your internet usage will first be deducted from the gift, night, or multi-user package.
