Considering the high cost of standard roaming rates, it is recommended to use internet or combo packages to save on expenses. To check your remaining package balance, you can dial *1111*6# from your Irancell line or visit the MyIrancell app.
Important Tips While in Iraq
• It’s recommended to top up at least 100,000 Tomans on your prepaid SIM card before entering Iraq.
• If you encounter issues making calls during your trip, first ensure your SIM card has sufficient credit.
• Postpaid users are advised to increase their credit limit based on their expected usage.

Notes:
- Turning on your mobile phone does not incur any charges.
- After returning to Iran, remaining data from your roaming packages will expire and cannot be used.
When roaming data is turned on, mobile apps will consume data at roaming rates. Make sure unnecessary apps are closed. To avoid unnecessary charges while in Iraq, make sure to disable automatic downloads of videos, photos, and voice messages in your messaging apps. Also, ensure that any unused apps are turned off. If you don’t have enough credit to receive a call while in Iraq, your friends and loved ones in Iran using Irancell SIM cards can pay your roaming charges. The automated system will ask your contact if they wish to cover this cost. When using the Call Host service, the caller must pay not only their own call charges but also the recipient’s cost (the person in Iraq), which is 30,000 Tomans per minute.
