Getting System Messages
You can decide how and if you want to receive promotional notifications for MTN Irancell products and services; it’s easy and done via MyIrancell application or by dialing *555*4*7#. Below you can find out more about the details.
MyIrancell App
- Log in to MyIrancell app and tap on Menu.
- Select My Account.
- Select Notifications Preferences.
- Then select the channels from which you want to get system messages.
Dialing *555*4*7#
Dial this code and enter your number or another preferred number by which you want to receive promotional messages. Then select whether you want to receive our latest promotions via SMS or email.
Promotion Channels:
- SMS:using this method, the notifications will be sent to your number or any other number you submit. For example, if you have a data SIM, you can enter another SIM card number to receive the data SIM’s promotion messages.
- MyIrancell:when you log in to your MyIrancell account, you’ll receive the notifications as a pop-up message in the app.
- Email address:in this methods notifications are sent to your email address.
In case of submitting an alternative number, the notifications will be sent to the user account/ email registered in that number settings.
Manage Promotional Messages
To do so, follow either of the steps below:
- Visiting MyIrancell>MyAccount>Profile>Promotional Message
- Dialing *800#
- Texting 1 to 800
My Irancell
Go to Home Page>My Account>Profile and tap on System Message Settings, then select your desired communication channels to receive the related messages.

To manage your account, just dial the golden *555# code with your cellphone. You can manage your MTN Irancell account by this USSD anytime and everywhere without the need to an internet connection.
Switching from Prepaid to Postpaid SIM Cards
You no longer have to buy a new SIM card in order to be a postpaid subscriber, you can switch from your prepaid SIM card to a postpaid SIM card by simply dialing a code and benefit from all gifts and advantages of such switching.
Methods for switching from prepaid to postpaid:
1. MyIrancell Superapp or web-based version (online):
You must go to: Home Page/My Account/Service/SIM Swap
2. Prepaid to postpaid swap USSD (offline):
You need to dial *70#
3. Irancell Service Centers and Dealers (in person)
MyIrancell Web App
MyIrancell web app works just like MyIrancell app. However, here you don’t need to install any application and can manage your account by logging in to website.
*456# is an easy and useful code using which you can manage your kids’ SIM card!
If you intend on giving a SIM card to your child or a young family member, *456# puts your mind at ease in every way.
Using this code, you can:
- Manage and control your kids’ access to different websites.
- Set a predetermined intervalls during which different services such as voice calls, text messages and internet can be used.
Using this service is free of charge and can be activated for all Irancell SIM cards.
The only requirement for activating this service is that the SIM card be in your name.
By using Irancell’s kids and teens services, your kids will only have access to websites suitable for your chosen age range.
