Serbian Minister of ICT Visits Irancell

Serbian Minister of ICT, who has traveled to Iran to attend the farewell and funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution, also visited Irancell to learn about the capabilities and accomplishments of the first and largest digital operator of Iran. During the visit, discussions were held regarding the expansion of cooperation between Iran and Serbia in the field of information and communications technology. ‌‌‌‌‌‌ 

According to Irancell’s Public Relations, Minister Boris Bratina, accompanied by the Serbian Ambassador and a high-ranking delegation, met with Mohammad Hossein Soleimanian, Chief Executive Officer of Irancell, and its senior executives. During the meeting, Irancell presented a comprehensive report on its activities and achievements in developing the 5G network, fiber optics, digital transformation, and digital economy, and expressed its readiness to share experience and join cooperative projects. ‌

The Serbian Minister announced his country’s plans to launch a 5G network by the middle of next year and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in training and research fields and using Snapp Group experiences. ‌‌‌‌ Additionally, the CEO of Irancell Labs showcased the capabilities of this company in localization and innovation, while the CEO of Snapp Group explained the position of the Group in the digital economy of Iran. The visit concluded with the Serbian delegation touring Irancell’s Call Center and Network Operations Center.
