Official Inauguration of eSIM Launch in Iran by Irancell

As the first one to introduce eSIM technology in Iran, Irancell received the “official license” for commercial launch of this technology and would be ready to provide this service for the subscribers as the first operator. This license makes it possible to commercially provide various use cases of eSIM in Irancell network.

The technical and operational infrastructures to provide eSIM has been launched and tested in Irancell network during the last years and it is officially launched at the same time when the new generation of smart phones – based on this technology- are being provided worldwide.

The subscribers, whose smart phones support eSIM, can refer to Irancell website and request activation of this service.
