- No necessity to purchase a SIM card at your destination
- Ability to keep in touch with your friends and family using your current local SIM card during your stay at abroad
- Keeping the access to the following services during your stay at a foreign country: banking transactions, card-to-card transfer, receiving SMS from banks, access to local legal and administrative services, online purchase of airtime, online purchase of data and combo packages as well as paying the bill for your postpaid SIM card
- Cost-Effective roaming tariff compared to the tariffs of foreign SIM cards
Points to Consider:
- By purchasing the package available in each category (excluding Iraq and Turkey), you can also use that purchased package in other countries. For example, if you purchase a package for UAE, you can also use this package in Qatar since these two countries belong to the same category.
- When you are abroad, it is possible to purchase airtime and activate package from inside Iran.
- To be able to use roaming service, the subscribers need to activate it before departure by dialing *1111*1# and/or visiting MyIrancell. But when you purchase and activate the roaming package, the roaming service will be automatically activated for you.
- Roaming packages cannot be automatically renewed.
- When you are on roaming mode, local data packages cannot be used.
