Mobile Internet Automatic and Manual Configuration

You can use this page to automatically receive and install the configuration for your mobile Internet. If you cannot receive the configuration, follow the steps mentioned in this page to manually activate your mobile Internet.

Manual Configuration In case of Not Automatically Receiving Mobile Internet Configuration

In case your handset is not able to receive the configuration, follow the instructions based on your mobile operating system and manually make the setting.

Instruction for Mobile Internet Configuration

Use the following instruction to activate your mobile data based on the operating system of your handset.
This detailed instruction helps you smoothly make the needed setting.

Android Configuration (Samsung Handsets):

  • Enter the Settings Section.
  • Visit Connections menu
  • Choose Mobile Networks.
  • Then, select Access Point Names.
  • Use menu button to select New APN.
  • In the opened window, enter Irancell-Internet for Name and mtnirancell for APN.
  • Use menu button to “Save” the changes.

Android Configuration (Xiaomi Handsets):

  • Enter the Settings Section.
  • Choose Mobile Networks and then select Irancell SIM card.
  • Then, select Access Point Names from SIM card Settings menu.
  • Use menu button to select New APN.
  • In the opened window, enter Irancell-Internet for Name and mtnirancell for APN.
  • Use menu button to “Save” the changes.

iOS Configuration:

  • Enter the Settings.
  • Select Cellular.
  • Turn on Cellular Data to be able to use the mobile data.
  • Add “mtnirancell” for APN under Cellular Data section
  • To be able to enjoy 4G/4.5G, select your SIM card from SIMS section and enter Voice & Data section.
  • Then, select LTE to activate 4G/4.5G.

Windows Phone Configuration:

  • Choose Settings.
  • In the opened window, click on Access Points (in some handsets, this section is called Mobile Network).
  • In Access Points section, you can view the list of access points already made. To make a new one, click on Add at the bottom of the page.
  • Enter the details for the new point. For Connection Name, enter Irancell-Internet and for Access Point Name, enter “mtnirancell” (there is no need to complete username and password). Then, click on Save.
  • Click on OK.
  • New access point is made but is “Inactive”.
  • To activate it, press your finger on APN for some seconds until a menu appears. From the popped-up menu, select Activate.
  • To activate Irancell high-speed Internet, select 3G in “Highest Connection Speed” section on Mobile Section page.
  • By entering the above configuration, Irancell mobile high-speed Internet is ready to use.
