How to Activate your New SIM Card?

To activate a new prepaid SIM card, all you have to do is make a call with your new SIM card and dial *555*1*2#.

Postpaid SIM cards are also easily activated with your first call from them.

If you have just upgraded from a 3G SIM card to 4G, just dial *34# from your old SIM card (the one from which you had submitted your request) to activate your brand new 4G SIM!

In the following cases, new SIM cards will be activated within 2 days of posting the required documents:

  • MTN Irancell Golden SIM Cards
  • Special SIM Cards for Fixed Internet (TD-LTE) Modems
  • Porting Mobile Numbers from other Operators to MTN Irancell
