Soleimanian Appointed CEO of Irancell

The Board of Directors of Irancell Telecommunications Services Company appointed Mohammad Hossein Soleimanian as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company on Sunday morning, 18 January 2026, following the completion of the one-year term of Alireza Rafiei as CEO and his promotion to Deputy CEO of Iran Electronics Industries Company. ‌‌

According to Irancell Public Relations Department, Soleimanian holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with a major in telecommunications from Tabriz University. He formerly served as a member of the Board of Directors in Irancell. ‌‌‌

Having 24 years of experience in the ICT industry in Iran, Soleimanian is a well-known figure in the industry and has been actively involved in introducing new technologies to the country. ‌‌‌‌

Before him, Alireza Rafiei served as the CEO of Irancell for one year, after which he assumed the position of Deputy CEO of Iran Electronics Industries Company, effective today. Developing the 5G mobile communications infrastructure, expanding Irancell’s fiber optics project throughout the country, and establishing modern structures for maintenance of the mobile phone network are among his most significant achievements. ‌
