Opening of Irancell 5G Site in Fars Province Recording 4143 Mbps Speed Rate

The newest Irancell 5G site in Fars Province was opened online on Saturday morning 11 October 2025 reaching the speed rate of 4143 Mbps.‌

The event was held with presence of Minister of Information and Communications Technology and the executives, Governor of Fars Province, as well as Irancell CEO. Moreover, the optical fiber projects in phase 2 of Sadra New Town and Zakhrad urban communication site was also operated.‌‌

Irancell optical fiber development projects are being carried out in around 170 cities across the country enabling service provision in Tehran, Shiraz, Sadra, Babol, and Arak.‌‌‌

The number of Irancell 5G sites in the country reached 1167 by opening the new site in Shiraz.‌

As the first 5G service provider in Iran, Irancell has started development of 5G technology since the year 1395 and pioneered in 5G technology development in Iran by establishing 5G-SA network and reaching several speed records.‌‌‌
