Inauguration of Danestan Specialized Educational Complex for Children by Irancell Support

The project for reconstructing and opening the Danestan specialized educational complex for children has come into operation with the support of Irancell and cooperation of the State Welfare Organization.
Danestan Complex is an educational institution equipped with digital teaching tools where labor children can learn lessons and skills. This complex is established with support of Irancell and cooperation of State Welfare Organization with the aim to cater to the needs of students of Sobhe Rooyesh Schools for working children in order to bring about a brighter future for children who are exposed to social harms by providing them with a learning platform.
The complex inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday morning March 12, 2025, with the presence of the Aide to the President in Social Affairs, Head of the State Welfare Organization of Iran, Irancell CEO and media people.
Irancell and State Welfare Organization cooperated with the aim to reconstruct, repair, equip and launch a specialized educational complex for working children named Danestan to cater their educational needs with an approach to use technology in this field in an optimal manner. Irancell’s focus in this project is on reconstruction of a school building and launch of an educational center for girls and boys in double-shift school system, mornings and afternoons, with an educational capacity for about 250 students.
Irancell, the first and biggest digital operator of Iran, in line with its corporate social investment projects to construct, renovate and equip schools in less-privileged areas, has already established two separate schools for boys and girls in Tohidabad Village, Khash County in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, in Azar 1400 (December 2021). Moreover, renovation and fundamental repairs of two school buildings in Puleh Village, in Zilayi District in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, in 1401 and construction of Irancell School in Yasuj in 1402 are amongst other school-making projects of Irancell in less-privileged areas.
Irancell also initiated the “Shining Schools” project at the beginning of 1398 in order to equip rural schools in underdeveloped regions of Sistan and Baluchestan with communicative capabilities and digital tools.
In accordance with the said policy and in the wake of a devastating flood in Farvardin 1398 (late March 2019), Irancell constructed and renovated a few schools in flood-ridden provinces of Golestan, Lorestan and Khuzestan with the aim to resolve educational problems in these areas. Consequently, Irancell inaugurated one school construction project and two school renovation projects in flood-ridden cities of Poldokhtar and Mamulan in Lorestan Province in Mehr 1398. By the same token, Irancell inaugurated one high school for girls in flood-ridden city of Veys in Khuzestan Province in Mehr 1399 and another one for boys in Siminshahr city in the flood-ridden Gomishan County in Golestan Province in Mehr 1400. Irancell’s approach in the initiation of such projects, especially inauguration of schools, is not just to construct a school building, but to draw attention to quality education and promote digital education. Based on its own strategy in establishment of Shining Schools Project, Irancell is trying to encourage quality education in schools by equipping the schools it has built or renovated with digital and communicative capabilities through cooperation with non-governmental organizations active in education field.
