MTN Irancell to participate on the construction and reconstruction of schools in flood damaged areas

MoU on cooperation in the construction and reconstruction of schools in flood damaged areas was signed between ‘MTN Irancell’, ‘Organization for Development, Renovation and equipping Schools (DRES)’ and the ‘Charity Schools Association of Iran’.

In an event held with the presence of MTN Irancell CEO in company’s HQ on July 13th, it was announced that MTN Irancell will participate in the construction of 3 new schools in the flood damaged areas of ‘Gomishan’, ‘Veis Molla Sani’ and ‘Ma’moulan’ and also the repair and reconstruction of 2 schools in the city of ‘Pol Dokhtar’.

MTN Irancell will also implement digital equipment in 5 schools in each province based on its ‘Bright Schools’ CSI innovation.

It is planned to finalize the project in Lorestan and Khouzestan provinces before the reopening season of schools in September 22nd.

About 1500 students will use these educational environments.
