The current SIM card owner must bring the following:
The SIM card being transferred
A valid identification document
The SIM card buyer must also bring the following:
A valid identification document
Full postal address of residence
The 10-digit postal code of the latest place of residence
Important note: The simultaneous presence of the buyer and the current SIM card owner is required for an in-person ownership transfer.

Transfer the Ownership of a Deceased Person’s SIM Card
Introductory Description:
If the SIM card owner has passed away, the ownership transfer process has different requirements.
To transfer ownership of a deceased person’s SIM card, immediate family members (heirs) or their legal representative must visit an Irancell Sales and Service Center or an Irancell Customer Service Center with the required documents.
Required Documents for Transferring Ownership of a Deceased Person’s SIM Card
The heirs or legal representative must bring their valid identification documents as well as documents related to the owner’s death, including:
The deceased owner’s valid identification document
A power of attorney from the heirs, if a legal representative is applying
Inheritance Certificate
