Call Shine

If you have Call Shine activated for your line, whoever calls you can read your personalized message or a selected beautiful sentence in their call waiting moments!

  • Benefits
    • The service lets you share your mood, status or even a joke with your caller friends, while they are waiting for you to pick up the call.
    • You can set a special message when you cannot pick up the phone.
    • By setting a proper call shine you can share the same message with others, with no need to send bulk messages.
  • Features
    • Authorized list: subscribers may add their desired contact numbers to this list so that the Call Shine status message will only be displayed to the callers in this list.
    • Unauthorized list: the numbers in this list will not receive the status message when calling the subscriber.
    • The subscription fee is 450 Tomans per month; this package includes 30 free status changes. After the subscription has expired, you can renew it again.
  • Purchasing and Activating Call Shine Service

    To activate your Call Shine service, please choose one of the methods below:

    1.Send 1 to 8585

    Using this method, you only pay for the subscription fee (450 Tomans) and “شب و روز شما بخیر” would be set as your default message. In other words, you only activate the service and can change your status message freely up to 30 times. To change your default message, just send an SMS to 8585 with your desired status message typed after #.

    If you are interested in activating the predefined Call Shine packages (e.g. Asheghaneh or She’er), use one of the following methods.

    2.Send the related code to 8585

    This way you activate both the service and the desired package. You can find the codes in the below table.

    For example, you can send R11 to 8585 and activate “She’er-e-no” package so that your callers would find the related messages of this package. To view the contents of each package send an SMS to 8585, typing your related code after a Q.

    If you have subscribed to this service by sending 1 to 8585, you would only pay each package’s monthly fee by sending each package’s code.

    Package activation fee: 100 Tomans

    If you haven’t activated the service before, by sending the code, both the service and the package would be activated for you.

    Service + package activation fee: 550 Tomans

    3.Using *8585#

    Dialing above mentioned USSD code, you can activate the service and your desired package.

    Service subscription fee: 450 Tomans

    Package activation fee: 100 Tomans

    If you wish to change your Call Shine message, simply dial *8585# or send the respective code to 8585. This way you would only pay for the service activation fee (100 Tomans).

  • Changing Your Default Call Shine Message

    If you have subscribed to MTN Irancell Call Shine service, the system selects a default message for you that all MTN Irancell users will be able to view when they call you. In case you want to have a new message as your default message, you can follow the steps below to change it.

    1.If you are on another page, enter the “My Personal Profile” page and click on the “Current Message” link in the left menu, to enter the settings page.

    2.In the “Message Text” section, type in the text of your new message and click the “Change” button at the end to save the changes.

  • Change the Settings for a Personalized Call Shine

    If you have already created a message for specific users and now want to change its text, first enter My Personal Profile page and then follow the steps below:

    1.Click the “Message Settings” link on the left side of the menu to enter the Message Settings page.

    2.In the “Available Items” section, hover your mouse over the message you want to modify, so that the “Edit” and “Delete” message options appear as shown below.

  • Set Up a Custom Message for a Specific User or Group of Users

    To set up a customized call shine messaging for one or more specific users (up to 10 users), you must first enter your mobile number as your username and e-Care password in call shine portal at http: //pishvaz.irancell.ir. (If you forgot your e-Care password, send a blank SMS to 130). You will see the “Message settings” page after logging into the portal if you have previously activated MTN Irancell’s messaging service. Follow the steps below to set up your own private message:

    1.If you are on another page, click “My Personal Profile” from the top menu;

    Then from the “My Personal Profile” submenu on the left, click “Message settings” to enter the Message Settings page.

    2.On the next page you will see two options: “Daily settings” and “Weekly settings”. Select “Daily Settings” if you want your message to be displayed to your friends on certain days, and if you want your message to be sent to your friends during a service period for one or more specific days of the week, select “Weekly Settings”.

    3.After choosing between “Daily Settings” or “Weekly Settings”, select “Special Users” from the “Receiver Type” section to set up a special message for special users.

    4.Now in the “Recipient” section, enter the mobile number of the user(s) you want to display a specific message; then click “Add” button to add the number to the recipients list.

    5.Now in the “Content” section, enter the text of your call shine message and click on “Submit” button to set the call shine message for specific users.

    6.After registering the call shine message, you can finally see the list of settings you have configured in the “Current Settings” section.

  • Set Up a Message for Different Hours

    Using the Call Shine scheduler feature, you can set different Call Shine messages for any hour of the day, so that your message will be shown exactly at the times you’ve set. After logging into “My Personal Profile” page, follow the steps below to set up a scheduled Call Shine message:

    1.In the left menu, click on the “Message Settings” link to enter the Message Settings page.

    2.You can set a different time frame for either your “Daily Settings” or “Weekly Settings” on this page. Once you have selected the type of setting, you can choose your desired “Day” and “Time Range” to further customize your message.

    Selecting “Time Range” is possible in three ways. The first is by selecting and typing the new time; the second is by using Quick Selection and the third, as shown in the third box, by typing the time directly.

    Note that the Quick Selection section will suggest and display a list according to the hour of your choice to make a faster selection.

    3. After selecting the type, day and time, and finally the text of the Call Shine message, click on the “Submit” button to save your settings.

  • Manage Contacts in MTN Irancell Call Shine Portal

    In the MTN Irancell Call Shine Portal, there is a page called “Manage Contacts” that virtually serves as your phone book; by using it you can add, delete or edit your contacts and even create a group from your contacts list. To access the “Manage Contacts” page, open “My Personal Profile” from the top menu, then follow the steps below to add a contact:

    1.From the left menu, click on the “Manage Contacts” link to open the Contacts page.

    2.Click the “Add” button to add your contacts.

    3.Finally, after you have entered your contacts’ numbers, click on “Submit” button to save them.

    If you want to add more numbers, click on the “Add More” link at the bottom left corner of the page. Note that using the contacts form, you can add up to 15 contacts each time and eventually create up to 300 contact and 20 contact groups.

    Delete a Contact Group

    If you’ve already created a group and want to delete it now, you can go to your Contacts Manager page and click on  button. Note that when deleting a group, you can also delete all the contacts in that group by selecting “Delete All the Group Contacts”. Otherwise the selected group will be deleted and group contacts will be moved to the “No Group” list.

     

    Rename a Group

    To change the name of the group you’ve already created, go to your Contacts Manager page and click on the  button.

    • Deleting Contacts

      To delete a contact, click on the Delete icon   in front of that contact; to delete multiple contacts, first select them and then click on the Delete button.

    • Renaming a Contact or Changing its Group
      • You can use the Edit option to rename a contact or change the contact group. At the end, click “Submit” to save the changes.
      • Also by clicking on the “Change Group” button, you can select a list of your contacts and change their contact group to another.
    • Create a Contact Group

      You already know how to add contacts in “Contacts Manager”. Now you need to follow these steps to create a group of contacts:

      1. From the left menu, click on the “Manage Contacts” link to open the Contacts page.
      2. Now click on the “Manage Group”.
      3. On the next page, click on “Add a Group” button and select a name for your group; then click “OK” to create the group.
    • Delete a Contact Group

      If you’ve already created a group and want to delete it now, you can go to your Contacts Manager page and click on  button. Note that when deleting a group, you can also delete all the contacts in that group by selecting “Delete All the Group Contacts”. Otherwise the selected group will be deleted and group contacts will be moved to the “No Group” list.

    • Rename a Group

      To change the name of the group you’ve already created, go to your Contacts Manager page and click on the  button.
