According to MTN Irancell Public Relations, the first round of “National E-learning Prize” in Iran was held by UNESCO Chair on E-learning and Education in three categories of “Person”, “Organization” and “Influential Achievement”.
In this evaluation, Irancell was identified eligible to receive the prize, due to its efforts made to provide appropriate communication platform for digital education, including a comprehensive digital education system within the organization (iLearn), Dana and Lenz apps as well as preparing educational contents for the staff.
The first round of “National E-Learning Prize” was held aiming at cultivating the culture of electronic learning and education, introducing and encouraging the organizations which are influential in the development and enhancement of digital learning status. The evaluation process was occurred in October 2018 and the closing ceremony was held on 17 December 2018 at the meetings and conferences hall of National Library and Archives of Iran. This event was attended by Nasrollah Jahangard, deputy minister of ICT, Sadegh Abbasi Shahkouh, managing director of TIC, Ali Akbar Jalali, head of UNESCO Chair on E-Learning and Education as well as several digital learning educators.
